About The GSTC Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism

All training participants who complete the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Course will have the opportunity to take the official Sustainable Tourism Course Exam, which is offered in an online and open-book format and available for one month following the date of training class completion.

About the GSTC

The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) was established by UN agencies together with NGOs and the private sector to act as an independent organization. It is now playing a

critical role as the leading global authority in providing guidance for the development and management of sustainability practices in tourism.

Target Audience:

Hotel managers, sustainability champions, heads of departments (HODs) and other hospitality professionals.

Delivery Method:

The course will be delivered over 3 days through a combination of lectures, group discussions, case studies and hands-on exercises.

Professional Certification:

Upon successful completion of the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Course (STC), participants will receive a certificate of attendance by the GSTC.

Upon taking the official GSTC Sustainable Tourism Course Exam, and upon successful completion, participants will receive a Professional Certificate in

Sustainable Tourism by the GSTC.
